Iana Ryan, Interim Director of Community Ministries
Iana Ryan was born in the island of Trinidad and Tobago. She earned her B.A. in Computer Information Systems and worked in the financial district for some years until she was called to full-time ministry. Upon answering her call to ministry, Iana immediately enrolled in New York Theological Seminary where she earned her Masters of Divinity and Fordham University where she earned her Masters of Social Work. Iana is an Ordained Associate Pastor and currently serves as the Minister of Consolation at the First Baptist Church of Crown Heights in Brooklyn, NY. Iana’s passion is working with women and marginalized populations. In Iana’s spare time she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading, listening to worship music and spending time in solitude by the beach.
