David Berry received his BM in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music and his MM from the Juilliard School, where he is also currently pursuing his DMA in piano performance. He has served on worship teams at Central Baptist Church in Syracuse, NY, Rochester Chinese Christian Church and the Juilliard Christian Fellowship; he also served as a Bible Study leader for several years while a student at Juilliard. In addition to his studies as a classical musician, David has also grown up playing gospel and worship music in church since an early age and has written and performed many of his own classical, gospel and jazz arrangements of hymns and worship music at venues throughout the US.
David and his wife, Jennifer, live in Washington Heights with their young son, David IV. Some of David’s interests include Art History, Basketball, Old-time gospel music, and occasionally watching historical documentaries on public broadcasting television.
