We realize that unless parents are equipped to shepherd their kids, children's ministry is worth very little. For this reason, family ministry is our focus which includes ministry to our children and youth. All Angels’ Family Ministry works to help parents develop spiritually, strengthen marriages, and provide practical parenting help with grace and wisdom in the context of an encouraging community. If you would like to know more about Family Ministry at All Angels', visit www.allangelsfamily.com. There you will find a number of resources as well as the online home of our active family ministry.
Long before a child can pronounce the word 'God', the concepts of authority, justice, and love are already being shaped in a child’s mind and heart. All Angels’ nursery is a place where young children can learn simple truths; a place permeated by the person of Jesus Christ.
Children's Worship prepares kids to worship together with their families by exposing them to the beauty and meaning of the liturgy as it teaches and reinforces the gospel. Children’s worship helps children understand how each aspect of the liturgy tells a part of the story, and each scene illustrates the gospel, as we participate in God’s redemption every Sunday.
Sunday School is an opportunity for children to explore the work and message of Jesus, and to begin to understand their own place in the story of God’s plan to rescue us and restore his creation by reconciling all things to himself through Christ.
As children become adults, they develop new questions about their faith, and are able to worship with more depth. Middle school is a time to form a foundational understanding of Christianity, along with critical thinking skills. We want our students to leave eighth grade confident of who Christ is, and who they are in Him.
The lives of teens are full of demands and distractions. All Angels’ high school youth group teaches our teens to see Christ as the lens through which they view all of the competing spheres of their life.

Mother's Groups
For over 18 years mothers’ groups have been meeting at All Angels’. The group meetings include time for fellowship, prayer, Bible study, and book or other topical studies for the mothers. Nursery care is provided for children under three, and older children are offered a variety of classes and activities that take place while the moms meet.
Four groups are currently meeting, two at All Angels’, and two that have been transplanted off-site due to space constraints. One of those meets at Central Baptist on W.92nd Street on Wednesdays and the other at St. Michaels on W.99th Street on Mondays. The two groups that meet at All Angels’ are on Monday mornings (10am-noon) with a membership of approximately 20 women and on Wednesday mornings (10am-1pm) with approximately 18.
Mothers from at least eight different churches attend, and includes everyone from mothers-to-be to those with high schoolers. The more the merrier! Email Mary Ellen Lehman for details.
