Children & Youth
Small Angels, Sharing the Good News
At All Angels' Church, we know that children are full and equal ministers of God’s Kingdom. Though their ministry may look different than an adults’, and their faith may be better developed through playing as a form of praying, we believe each child has a natural sense of spirituality and theology — just as deep as any adult. They, too, can share the good news of Jesus in their own unique voices.
Our Practice
Children at All Angels’ are known and valued, and they are trained as leaders according to their spiritual gifts. We strive to invest in those gifts and encourage their wonder though the teachings and the stories of the Bible, as well as through service, art, and fun.

Children at All Angels' Are...

We believe that our children are full and equal ministers in the Kingdom of God, empowered by their baptism, and capable of using their gifts to spread the Good News of Jesus to all.

We equip our youth and children through not only formation, but blessing. We pray for children before they leave to Children's Chapel each Sunday, and we bless backpacks, stuffies, and hands at different services throughout the year.

Part of the pedagogy of All Angels' is that friendship is fundamental to formation. Our kids go on retreats together, they serve, play, and worship together, and create friendships across burroughs and age gaps.

Our Nursery staff are warm, experienced caregivers for the smallest of our angels. To enter the Nursery is to be known and loved by our staff!

Our parish welcomes and highlights youth at many events throughout the year, including our Shrove Tuesday Dinner!

If our formation opportunities are not for you, your children are always welcome in the service. A Little Liturgical Library is available near the welcome table filled with toys, books, and coloring materials for youth of all ages!
